Author: Alexandra Adornetto
Genre: YA(Young Adult)
Summary from Barnes and Noble:
Three angels are sent down to bring good to the world: Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, a teenage girl who is the least experienced of the trio. But she is the most human, and when she is romantically drawn to a mortal boy, the angels fear she will not be strong enough to save anyone—especially herself—from the Dark Forces.
Is love a great enough power against evil?
Review:
I bought this book because I fell in love with the cover. This book is definitely quiet a bit brighter than most of the books about angels that are dark because the angels have fallen. The angels in the book are still messengers of God.
The book was a little slow in the beginning but towards the end it started to get really intense and awesome! I liked the characters a lot but I really wished that Alexandra would of created Bethany as a stronger character. I mean she was an angel and yet she needed the comfort and protection of a human to feel safe. I know she was in love with Xavier but she didn't need to rid herself of her emotional and physical strength. All in all the book was good and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a different story line and new point of view on the supernatural.
